Northumberland Logs
Northumberland Logs are a North East-based company who supply sustainable fuels. They were able to increase their business efficiency and open the door to new customers by including an ecommerce facility within their site.
Northumberland Logs are a company based in the North East of England, and they specialise in the the supply of sustainable fuels to both private individuals and commercial ventures.
Driven greatly by a desire to offer a service that not only meets the demands of their ever expanding client base, but that is also environmentally conscious, Northumberland Logs has built up a whole operating procedure and business policy around the renewability of wood as a sustainable fuel.
After initially developing a standard brochure site for Northumberland Logs, we revisited the project to incorporate an ecommerce element to the site. This not only increased sales for the business, but has also innovated how the business can operate. Previously, the Northumberland Logs team were dependent on payment upon delivery, which meant ensuring that the customer was at home when the fuel was delivered.
With the new ecommerce facility, Northumberland Logs are able to take payment online, and drop the logs off in a designated place, which is arranged during the checkout process. This makes everything easier for both the Northumberland Logs team and their customer base.
